SHAH ALAM: The Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centre (Puspakom) offering free inspection services nationwide for vehicles in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri from 23 June, until July 5, except for centres in Shah Alam, Taman Bukit Maluri, Mak Mandin and Kota Baru.
It was expected that 1,500 private vehicle owners had benefited from this service, aimed to check over 2,500 vehicles this year. This inspection is to ensure the road worthiness of a vehicle as well as to enable the owners to identify any problems that might pose a danger to all driver, passenger and other road users. Moreover, the vehicle inspection would cover a comprehensive 25-level check including emission test, side slip test, suspension, tinted glass and brake.
Now Malaysian vehicle owners could visit Puspakom branches from 8am to 5pm daily (according to branch operating hours) without having to wait or make a prior appointment.
